Described by NME as purveyors of “a backdrop of fuzz that scratches so deep it would make the Jesus & Mary Chain whimper”, dressmaker have become as well known on the underground scene for the tenacity of their live performances as they have for their fierce recordings and haunting visuals.
Describing their sound as ‘noise influenced psychedelic post punk,’ dressmaker have been carving a swathe through the London live scene. Their self-released Glass EP was released digitally on 23rd June 14 but is now finally availalbe on limited edition vinyl.
Until now the only place to get your hands on this wax is direct from them at gigs. We have teamed up with the band to do their online distro, but you need to be quick. we've only got 40 copies of these. We dont expect these to be in stock for long.
Formed in 2013, dressmaker is made up of Charles Potashner (vocals), David López (guitarist), Tom Fanthorpe (bass) and BenJack (drums). They cut their teeth playing venues such as the Shacklewell Arms, Barfly and The Lexington, as well as hosting their own warehouse parties.
